What is Agentopoly?
Agentopoly is a desktop workspace for managing AI coding agents in a living 3D world. Your Codex and Claude Code sessions become characters you can find, check in on, and give instructions to, with your terminal close at hand. It is currently in development.
Are these real coding agents or just a game?
Real agents, real projects, real work. The world reflects the state of your connected sessions: working, waiting for input, or ready for something new. Building and exploring are optional extras. You never need to finish a quest to get back to your code.
Does it work with Codex and Claude Code?
Yes. Agentopoly integrates with Codex and Claude Code through their installed tools. You bring your own eligible provider account and authentication. Agentopoly does not include a model subscription or replace your provider’s usage limits.
Can I bring in sessions I already started?
You can connect supported existing sessions to see their activity in the world. Observed sessions stay under the control of their original tool. Sessions you launch through Agentopoly have the controls supported by their provider integration.
Does my work keep running while I explore?
Yes. Switching between the world and your terminals, or pausing the world, leaves your agent sessions running while the app is open. You can return to their output and input whenever they need you.
Where does everything run?
Agentopoly’s workspace and session service run on your own machine. Your coding agents still connect to their model providers as usual; running Agentopoly locally does not make those providers offline.
When can I move in?
We’re building the first desktop release. Public downloads, supported platforms, and pricing have not been announced yet. For now, explore the city and try the sample crew on this page for a taste of the experience.
